Discord Nitro Scam: Is It a Scam?
Scammers send DMs or post messages in Discord servers offering free Nitro subscriptions via a link. The link leads to a fake Discord login page that steals your credentials, giving scammers full access to your account.
How This Scam Works
You receive a DM from a friend's compromised account or see a message in a server claiming you can get free Discord Nitro. The message includes a link to what looks like a Discord gift page. When you click it, you are asked to log in to 'claim' the gift. The fake login page captures your Discord credentials. The scammer then uses your account to send the same scam to all your friends, spreading the attack. Some variants also ask you to scan a QR code, which grants the scammer immediate access to your account through Discord's QR login feature.
