They also compile criminal records, driving records, insurance claims data, and employment verification information. Their profiles often include associated individuals and relatives.

Step-by-Step Opt-Out Instructions

  1. Go to https://consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com/request
  2. Select 'Opt Out' or 'Freeze' from the options
  3. Download and print the opt-out request form
  4. Fill out the form completely with your full legal name, SSN (last 4), date of birth, and current address
  5. Include a copy of a government-issued ID (driver's license or passport)
  6. Mail the completed form to: LexisNexis Consumer Center, P.O. Box 105108, Atlanta, GA 30348-5108

What to Expect After Opting Out
